Kate Fagan Taylor is a management consultant, facilitator, executive coach and inspirational speaker. Kate believes in helping leaders create impact— not only on their bottom line, but in social impact as well.

Kate advises leaders who work within complex systems, such as the tech and energy sectors, and understands the social, organizational and personal elements required for business success. As a woman executive, Kate enjoys mentoring other leaders and understands the unique challenges and opportunities of times of rapid growth and change. Kate helps leaders find their voices, lead with their unique strengths, and share their stories to inspire others.

With a varied career, Kate has led a successful tech startup, served as the senior official responsible for governance and policy at the University of Victoria, and directed Crown governance and accountability at the Crown Agencies Resource Office, Government of British Columbia. In addition to leading Executive Talent Management for the BC public service, she has provided strategy development leadership for numerous initiatives in the health, post-secondary, not for profit, and citizens’ services sectors.

Kate’s early career background built unique skills that she uses to help leaders reflect, take value-based action and grow healthy, inclusive, successful organizations. With a Masters of Divinity degree from the University of Notre Dame, Kate served eight years as a university chaplain (University of Victoria Interfaith Chaplaincy) and three years as executive director of the Queenswood Retreat Centre. This early training and experience in an intercultural setting helps Kate empower her clients to discover meaning and achieve purpose together through powerful dialogue, facilitation and coaching that is always focussed on results.
